Today I was going through the checkout at Macey's buying something for work. The bagger was an elderly man. When he saw what I was purchasing, he asked, "No food?" When I shook my head, he responded by holding up a small container of smarties (which is supposed to be for children). "Well we wouldn't want you to starve." he commented, motioning me to take one.
I grabbed a smartie and thanked him, leaving the store with a smile.

Two Pennies
This year for our Christmas charity, the karate school is raising money to buy all of our local police officers a Christmas turkey. David Bronson, one of our little ninjas, donated his two pennies toward the turkey fund. It was the smallest donation, but given by the greatest will to contribute.
